{etsy update}

slowly but surely i am adding items back into my long lost etsy shop

now featuring a bright colorful handmade apron

& a button bracelet

both new items handmade by my mom and one of a kind

i gathered up some little notebooks i had laying around

they had companies names on them from conferences i've attended

boring right?

so i gathered up some scraps i had laying around and gave them a new look

perfect for keeping in your purse

another weekend project completed
fill the photo tray i have had sitting around empty for 5 months
it's easy to take the pictures, not easy to get them all developed and displayed
snapshots of our summer trip out west

simply vera is easily my favorite line at Kohls.

i loved this purse so much, but $59, no thanks

so i decided to make my own over the weekend

here's what i came up with...

i found the purse at goodwill for $1.99

found a scrap of fabric and frayed the edges like the purse above

sewed the jewels on by hand, we already had them

and then glued the jewel/fabric piece onto the front of the purse

i actually like mine better than the one i originally saw

plus i can actually say i made it vs just bought it at the store

its unique & was super easy to make!
